This course is delivered in association with CQI and IRCA Approved Training Partner Antaris.
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of an Environmental Management System. The course is highly interactive, giving delegates the opportunity to practice the activities involved in planning, conducting and following-up an audit against ISO 14001:2015 in accordance with ISO 19011.Environmental issues affect all organisations in all business sectors. With increasing pressure from stakeholders such as investors, customers and regulatory bodies, to be transparent and accountable for its actions, no company can afford to ignore its responsibility to identify, control and improve its environmental performance.
Many companies address these issues by implementing an environmental management system which meets the requirements of ISO 14001. Indeed, many major companies now require their suppliers to provide evidence of third party registration to ISO 14001.
Auditing the system and identifying nonconformities and improvement opportunities is essential to ensure the effectiveness of the environmental management system.
This two-day course is designed for personnel who wish to gain an understanding of how to audit an environmental management system in accordance with auditing guidelines ISO 19011. During the two days, delegates will build their knowledge and practise the skills necessary to enable them to conduct an internal environmental audit against ISO 14001:2015.
