How do I download and set up Zoom?

Visit zoom.us/download to install the Zoom client on your device. The installation is quick and straightforward, but ensure you grant necessary permissions for your camera and microphone. How do I join a virtual class on Zoom?

You will find the Zoom link provided on the course confirmation email which would have been sent by your Course Manager. At the session time, click the link to open Zoom, where you’ll be prompted to join. We recommend logging in 15 minutes to ensure all is ok. 

How is my privacy protected in online sessions?

SQT prioritises data security, using secure platforms like Zoom and Moodle that comply with privacy regulations. Personal data is stored safely, and live sessions are monitored to ensure a secure environment. Please review our privacy policy for more details. 

Is there technical support available if I have trouble with Zoom or Moodle?

Yes, our Course Administration Team are ready to help with any technical issues. You can access a range of self-help guides in the Zoom and Moodle pages.
